To help keep NatterFly tidy and active, chatrooms that have not been used for 7 days are automatically closed and removed from the chatroom list.
What counts as activity?
A chatroom is considered active when members are using it. Simply having a room open with no conversation does not necessarily count as activity.
Why are inactive rooms removed?
Removing unused chatrooms helps to:
Keep the chatroom list organised.
Make it easier for members to find active conversations.
Prevent hundreds of abandoned rooms from building up over time.
Ensure the community remains welcoming and lively.
Can I get my room back?
If your room has been removed due to inactivity, don't worry. You can simply create a new chatroom at any time.
How do I keep my room active?
The easiest way is to use your room regularly and encourage friends and members to visit. Even a few conversations each week will help keep your room active.
If you're planning to be away for an extended period and think your room may be removed, you can always recreate it when you return.
Registered Chatrooms
If you have a chatroom that you would like to keep permanently, you can request for it to be registered.
Registered chatrooms are not automatically removed due to inactivity, making them ideal for established communities, clubs, organisations or themed chatrooms that may not be active every day.
Please note that there is no need to register a room that is regularly used. Active chatrooms will remain open automatically.
